It is not by chance that Voicevale has grown to be the largest supplier of Nuts and Dried Fruits in Europe but through adherence to 7 core values:

1. Expertise

Voicevale has built up a reputation as being experts in the supply of Nuts and Dried fruits. To trade in commodities requires an in-depth knowledge of the product and many years of experience to understand the complexities of the international markets. Regular visits are made to countries of origin to gather information on crop conditions and to help determine world supply. In addition to understanding market conditions and the individual commodities, it is also essential that we understand our customers’ business and needs. Great emphasis is placed on the need to spend time with our customers, discussing the nature of their business, their current requirements and future directions.

It is only by building long term relationships with customers and suppliers that we have been able to grow. Honesty and transparency are the cornerstones of these relationships and the hallmarks of Voicevale’s approach to business, enabling a mutual trust and respect to develop.

3. Commitment

To meet the high standards demanded by our customers, Voicevale is committed to working closely with its suppliers. During regular visits to the farms and factories, dialogue is maintained to help our suppliers establish and develop quality control systems and food hygiene procedures appropriate for suppliers to the European market. The need for our suppliers to develop the necessary attitude to these issues is paramount. On occasions, we have provided training in the UK and facilitated visits to food processing factories in Europe so that they may see first hand and understand what is exactly required of them.

It is of vital importance that the product is supplied to customers on the day required, whatever the market conditions prevailing at the time. At Voicevale, a highly dedicated and experienced team organises and oversees shipment from all corners of the world, clearance through customs, storage and eventual delivery to customers. Samples are taken and analysed at every stage of this operation to ensure that the product continues to comply with agreed specifications.

5. Social Responsibility

During regular visits to its suppliers, Voicevale has been able to influence and improve the working conditions of the workers in the processing factories, advising management on what is acceptable in terms of employment practice and health and safety . Risk of injury or work related sickness together with access to medical care is amongst the first priorities when assessing the suitability of new suppliers. Voicevale representatives make it clear that exploitation and abuse of the workforce and the use of child labour are not acceptable and that adopting these issues are paramount in ensuring appropriate ethical standards and approval to become a Voicevale supplier.

6. Information

Correct assessment and the provision of up to date information on all the markets Voicevale trades in, is a vital and a highly valued part of the service we provide. Frequent contact is maintained with our customers to ensure they have the latest, impartial information available on the products and markets they are interested in, thus enabling Voicevale customers to plan their buying requirements accordingly. Suppliers are also kept continuously up to date by being made aware of market trends and consumer demands in their target markets enabling them to invest in their plants and raw materials in an appropriate manner.

Our unique knowledge of the wider market, thanks to our extensive supplier base, enables us to promote cross fertilization of ideas and help us anticipate and respond to our customer’s ever changing needs. In a market where fashions come and go much more frequently than in the past, Voicevale strongly believes in being at the forefront of innovation . By assisting with research and development, and new product development teams, we have on numerous occasions introduced new and innovative products to our customers and suppliers who have, as a result, increased their market shares considerably.
